In this modern penthouse, located in Padua, the dividing line between open and closed spaces, between modern and contemporary, between form and function is not exactly established, and we arrive at a sort of emotional suspension that involves and amazes.
Just take a quick look at the plan of the apartment, where a very long rectangular living room is the protagonist, and where light floods the large room through the large windows.
To underline the length of that room, a suspended and uninterrupted shelf-container was created that houses 150 books under which a led light was run that marks the spaces more markedly at night.
This strong architectural sign is then balanced by a bookcase, along the staircase, into which the shelf insinuates itself.
